Intro to Game Development

In this class, your child will learn the concepts and skills needed to build a game from scratch. All of the scripts code will be provided, but we’ll all learn how to code works as we go. In this first course, we’ll all build the same game. In the next advanced course, we’ll build a game with significantly more customizability. Laptop is required . Before you sign up you will have to check the parts of your computer and send them to the class teacher. There are two desktops available at the leu if you do not have a laptop available. Please contact the Leu to reserve one of the computers if it is necessary for your student to be able to take the class.

Time commitment: This class will require student to download content between classes to ensure that the time we’re given is spent efficiently. Expect your child to dedicate a short period of time to downloading extra content between classes. Specific instructions will be provided.
