At the Leu Civic Center, our students are expected to show respect and take responsibility for their actions and preparation for their classes.

Student Behavior:

Students will not intentionally or physically harm another student or staff member. There is ZERO TOLERANCE for any physical violence.

Students are expected to ask their instructor before leaving class for any reason. This is a safety precaution so teachers can keep track of their students.

Students are expected to follow the instructor’s rules and instructions so that the instructor can maintain a safe and organized environment that is conducive to learning.

Any behavior that jeopardizes the safety of other classmates or themselves will be addressed. The first time will be a warning. The second time, parents will meet with Jenna Smith or Reagan Hightower to discuss the situation. A third violation or extreme violation could result in removal from the class immediately.

Accommodations:

I understand that I can speak with Leu staff/Instructor to make a plan for special needs accommodations for my child.

I understand that Leu instructors will do their best to accommodate all students but that they are not trained in special education and may need assistance.

I understand that I may be asked to assist my child in class if my child needs more one-on-one assistance or accommodations than the instructor can provide.

Disease Prevention

I will not bring sick family members to the Leu. There may be circumstances when an instructor requests more stringent guidelines because of health concerns. If that is the case, please be respectful to the instructor’s needs.
